In a shocking development in the Sharon Raj murder case, it was revealed that Greeshma allegedly poisoned her boyfriend, Sharon, by mixing paraquat, a toxic herbicide, into a medicinal drink. Medical experts from the Neyyattinkara Medical College disclosed this detail during their testimony before Additional District Sessions Judge A.M. Basheer.
Dr. Arun, head of the college’s medicine department, explained to the court how paraquat affects the human body. Investigations showed that on October 14, 2022, Grishma mixed the poison into the drink, knowing its lethality. Just hours before administering the poison, she reportedly searched online for information on how paraquat impacts the body. Grishma learned that consuming even 15 milliliters could be fatal, a fact which the prosecution presented as evidence of premeditation.
