Order for further investigation of abduction case six-year-old girl in Kollam Oyur. The order is of Kollam Additional Sessions Court. Meanwhile, the court granted bail to the second accused Anitha Kumari.
The High Court had earlier granted bail to the third accused Anupama. Rural Crime Branch DYSP, MM Jose, was assigned to the investigation after the child’s father alleged that the investigation was unsatisfactory. The investigation team informed that further investigation will be conducted based on the statement of the child.
The confidential statement of the child’s father and, if necessary, the brother will also be recorded. His brother, who was with him when the child was abducted, saw four people in the car. But the investigation was limited to three people. This led to further investigation.
A six-year-old girl was abducted from Oyur on November 27 last year. The next day at noon, the accused left the child in the grounds of the ashram and passed away. During the subsequent investigation, the accused Chathannoor Mampallikkam Kavitharajil KR Padmakumar (53), his wife MR Anithakumari and daughter Anupama were arrested from Puliyari in Tamil Nadu.
