It is a shame that those who demolished the disputed building in the shape of a church were acquitted. The disputed building was demolished during a pre-planned rath yatra. BJP, VHP and Sangh Parivar leaders were provoking the people. The release of the convicts proved once again that the Indian legal system is influenced by Hindutva, the ministry said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, a court acquitted 32 people, including LK Advani, accused in the case. The court was convinced that the incident was not planned. The action was based on this.

At the same time, Pakistan is trying to create unrest in the country through racial slurs. A number of Pakistani leaders have already come out in protest against the acquittal of the leaders in the case.
