The triple lockdown in the city of Thiruvananthapuram has been extended till midnight on July 25 due to the spread of Kovid contact. The government has issued an order in this regard. The triple lockdown is being extended under sections 26, 30, and 34 of the National Disaster Management Act, 2005. As per the order, the city of Thiruvananthapuram will remain under strict lockdown till midnight on July 28. Experts say there is a link between COVID spread and climate. The study was conducted jointly by researchers from IIT Bhubaneswar and AIIMS.
