Thiruvananthapuram: The staff of Kudumbasree’s popular hotel, which changed the appetite of the capital for 20 rupees, are starving. Hotel operator Sarojinichechi says that the reason for all this is the government’s cheating. From the time of Corona, ration was given at Rs. 20 for three years. But the government stopped the subsidy.
Officials say that they will never get this subsidy again. I have not received any benefits for 4 years. The government had said that it would get rice from the supermarket. But none of this was followed.
The hotel is in debt. They say they have been paying the current bill for four years. The addition of Kudumbashree Bazar was also a big setback. Operators say they are tired of asking questions to authorities. They assert that they will not vote for Pinarayi again.
