In an accident on the Palakkad-Kozhikode National Highway at Vattampalam, a car collided with a bike, injuring two youth from Mannarkkad. One of the victims is in critical condition.
The injured, Akhil (30) from Perumpadari, Mannarkkad, and Nisar (29) from Nayadikunnu, Madakkadav, Kozhikode, were taken to a private hospital in Mannarkkad. Akhil, who suffered serious injuries, was shifted to the intensive care unit. The accident occurred around 10 PM last night.
