At the same time, the Government of India has said that the rate of recovery of people has now reached 52.95 percent. The recovery / death ratio is 94.07 per cent / 5.93 per cent.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry till eight o’clock on Thursday morning, 1,60,384 patients are currently being treated, while 1,94,324 people have become healthy and one patient has left the country. An official said that about 52.95 percent of the patients have become healthy so far. The total number of people infected with the coronavirus also includes foreign nationals.
More than 10,000 cases of infection have been reported in India for the seventh consecutive day. Of the 334 people who died, 114 were Maharashtra, 67 were in Delhi, 48 in Tamil Nadu, 27 in Gujarat, 18 in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Haryana, 11 in West Bengal, 8 in Karnataka and 6 in Punjab. Madhya Pradesh, five in Rajasthan, three in Bihar, two each in Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh. Kovid-19 killed one person each in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Telangana, and Uttarakhand.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 62,49,668 samples were tested until 17 June. 1,65,412 sample tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
