Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Secretary dismissed from service

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party has a headache again. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Secretary Bibhavku Mar has been sacked by Vigilance. The action was taken on the grounds that it was an illegal appointment. A case was registered against Bibhav in 2007 for obstruction of official duties. Vigilance points to this case as the reason for the expulsion.

Vigilance Special Secretary YVVJ Rajasekhar issued the order in view of the 2007 case. Vigilance informed that he was dismissed from the service after he was also found to have violated the procedure of appointment. Mahesh Pal, who was appointed to the Development Authority of Noida, was prevented by Bibhav Kumar from performing his duties.

The order states that Bibhav Kumar and three others tried to assault the complainant and this is a serious offence. ED had questioned Bibhav Kumar and AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak in the liquor scam case. Bibhau was also interrogated last month and his statement was recorded.
