Avoid travelling to Iran, Israel; Ministry of External Affairs warns Indians

New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs has warned Indians not to travel to Iran and Israel due to the possibility of Iran-Israel conflict. . Indians currently residing in both countries are also advised to contact the embassy. Travel has been banned until further notice.

Iran has stated that it will retaliate against Israel’s airstrikes against its embassy in Syria this month. After that, the possibility of conflict arose. Indians of both countries should be safe. The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that unnecessary travel should be avoided.

Countries including the US and Russia have issued similar directives to their employees and citizens. India’s Ministry of External Affairs also issued a warning.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has been going on for six months and the Iran-Israel issue has arisen. The US has asked the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Iraq to hold talks with Iran.
