Delhi: Bomb threats have again been issued to 40 schools in Delhi, including Delhi Public School in RK Puram and GD Goenka School in Paschim Vihar. The threats were received via email early on Monday morning. Students who had arrived at the schools were sent back home.
Currently, the police and fire department are conducting thorough inspections at the schools. According to the fire department, the first calls were received at 6:15 AM from GD Goenka School and at 7:06 AM from Delhi Public School. The fire department, dog squad, bomb detection team, and local police are present on the premises. However, police officials have stated that nothing suspicious has been found so far.
Earlier, in October, an explosion was reported outside the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Prashant Vihar, Delhi. The blast had caused damage to the school wall, nearby shops, and vehicles.
