Burglar Arrested for Robbery into Director Joshiy’s Home in kochi

Kochi: Mumbai native arrested for robbery at director Joshi’s house.
The accused was caught by the police from Udupi in Karnataka while he was returning to Mumbai after the robbery yesterday morning. The accused was arrested in Udupi after the police realized that the thief escaped in a car with Maharashtra registration.

Gold, diamond jewelery and other valuables stolen from Joshi’s house were recovered from the car in which the accused was traveling. This car was also taken into police custody. The accused will be brought to Kochi soon. It is indicated that he drove a car alone from Mumbai and reached Kochi and committed the theft. The police also suspect that he got local help to reach Kochi and commit the theft.

The accused stole gold and diamond jewelery worth more than one crore. The police got the CCTV footage of the thief. The South Police is investigating the case. It is clear from the CCTV footage that the theft took place at ‘Abhilashathi’ at 10B Cross Road Street B in Panampillinagar last night between one and a half past two.
