After rice and atta, bharat dal to conquer the market

New Delhi: Central Government to introduce Bharat dal after Bharat Rice and Atta. The central food department is planning to bring the red dal, which has a market price of Rs 93.5 per kg, to the market under the ‘Bharat’ brand at a rate of Rs 89 by next week. The sale will be through ration shops and central depots. Bharat rice is sold at Rs 29 and atta at Rs 27.5.

In the first phase, sales will be through NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited), NCCF (National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India Limited), ration shops and Kendriya Bhandar. It will be sold in 1 kg packets.
