Inaugurating several border infrastructure projects in strategically important areas including the western region, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “I feel proud to say that these bridges were constructed in time despite constant cross-border firing by the enemies.” Has been completed.

BRO Director General Le. General Harpal Singh said, “We are constructing a total of 17 bridges, out of which 6 are ready, 5 will be built next month and all others will be completed by March 2021. All the bridges are being constructed ahead of time. ”

Even after the May 5 deadlock between India and China in eastern Ladakh, the government had asked the Border Roads Organization to continue its infrastructure projects in the area near the Line of Actual Control. Singh chaired a high-level meeting on Tuesday to review the progress of projects under construction in the border areas, including Ladakh.
