Dissatisfaction with the state BJP after the announcement of the first phase candidate in Karnataka

Bengaluru. Dissatisfaction with the state BJP after the announcement of the first phase candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. BJP announced 20 candidates in the first phase. After the release of the list, many leaders have come forward threatening to leave the BJP and join the Congress.

A staunch RSS supporter and former deputy chief minister KS Eshwarappa also raised his voice against the leadership. Eshwarappa came out against BS Yeddyurappa, former Chief Minister and BJP Parliamentary Board member, after his son KE Kantesh could not get a place in the candidate list.

Although Eshwarappa demanded that the seat be given to his son, Basavaraj Bomma, a sitting MLA and former chief minister, was made the party’s candidate.
