The central government has issued new guidelines for its offices on Tuesday after the coronavirus cases were reported in several ministries and departments. The government has asked officers and employees not to hold face-to-face meetings.

The Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions has issued a circular saying that it is they who come to the office of employees who do not have any symptoms related to coronavirus. Those who have a mild fever, sore throat, etc., all of them stay at home and do not come to office.

The government has asked employees to live in the Containment Zone to work from home. No more than 20 officers and employees are to attend office in a day. Accordingly, departments have been asked to draw a duty chart.

The guideline states that employees working in the same cabin come to the office on different days. As far as possible, sit with the windows open. While working in the office, the face mask and face shield should be worn. If this does not happen then action should be taken against the employee.
