Donald Trump has announced that he will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week during Modi’s visit to the U.S. The announcement came amid a campaign event in Michigan. Trump praised Modi, calling him ‘fantastic,’ and confirmed that he will be meeting him next week.
Modi’s US visit is from September 21 to 23. He is going to America to attend the 4th Quad Summit. He will stay in the US till the 23rd and will also address a program at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Quad Summit is in Wilmington, Delaware. Quad is a consortium of four countries namely India, US, Japan and Australia.
On September 23, Prime Minister Modi will speak with various world leaders at the ‘Future Summit’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. At the summit, Modi will also hold bilateral talks with several world leaders.
