Governor Dr CV Ananda Bose reached Kolkata’s SSKM Hospital and held discussions with the doctors who are treating Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as soon as she got the news that she was injured and admitted to the hospital. He informed that all arrangements can be made anywhere in the country to provide better treatment if required.

The doctors assured the governor that the health situation is now under control. The governor wished Mamata a speedy recovery. Earlier, the Governor had constituted a panel comprising the top ten expert doctors of the country for expert treatment of knee injuries.

At the same time, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was injured in a fall, left the hospital. Mamata was discharged after receiving four stitches where her forehead was badly cut. Mamata was brought to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata last night with blood flowing from her forehead. Trinamool Congress tweeted the issue.
