Shimla: Earthquake in Himachal Pradesh. An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was felt. The National Center for Seismology informed that the earthquake occurred in Champa town at 9:34 pm. A strong earthquake was also felt in Manali, 100 km away. No significant damage was reported. On April 1, moderate earthquakes were recorded in Chamoli, Lahaul and Spiti in Himachal Pradesh.
