The Chief Minister responded to the incident where the students and their parents who came to write the Kerala entrance examination at St. Mary’s School, Pattom, filed a case against the group for violating the COVID defense. The CM said that the students could not be blamed for this and that the restrictions should have been put in place in anticipation of the possibility of such a merger after the examination.

The CM also said that matters related to the case registered against the parents will be examined. However, when asked by the media whether the police, the health department, or the education department should have taken the necessary steps at the examination center, the CM said they were responsible for the regulation. However, he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat him.
