Two soldiers died in an accident while repairing military equipment in Ladakh. The Army said yesterday that a component exploded during maintenance of the critical equipment.
Craftsman Shankara Rao Gotappu died instantly in the accident. Havildar Shanwaz Ahmed Bhat, who was seriously injured, was admitted to the hospital but his life could not be saved, the army said.
