Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation has dismissed the security officer who stopped the farmer who was traveling with a load on his head. The officer stopped the farmer because he came with a shirt, trunk and a load on his head.
The security officer stopped the farmer who came with his shirt and trunk on his head when he was trying to enter the platform. He asked him to stay away from Queu. The incident took place at Rajajinagar metro station.
After the video of the incident went viral, protests and discussions against BMRC intensified. The security officer was then dismissed. The farmer did not have any security threat in his hand, but it was considered unfair to keep him aside because of his role.
