The interrogation was led by NBA Southern Regional Head KB Vandana. Earlier, the NIA had questioned him for five hours in Thiruvananthapuram. It is learned that the NIA had prepared evidence during interrogation that it had made more phone calls to the accused on the days when the diplomatic luggage was seized. However, Shivshankar said that he called the customs from the number to which the dream was connected. The NIA team also found that on the day the gold arrived, he had spoken to the accused from another number.
