In booth number 109 of Thalassery, the vote of a woman above the age of 85 by the name of Malathi was cast in favor of a particular candidate by the BLO. It is also reported that he has registered himself. This action is illegal and unfair. In this situation, such votes will be illegally registered in Thalassery assembly constituency of Vadakara unless there is an urgent intervention of the Chief Election Commission.
Therefore, the complaint seeks immediate orders restraining the Sectoral Officers or BLOs from recording illegal votes without ensuring the presence of the BLAs representing the candidate.
