Nirmala Sitharaman’s 7th budget presentation has started. The Union Finance Minister will present the first budget of the third Narendra Modi government.
The attire chosen by the finance ministers on the day of the budget presentation is of special note. Nirmala Sitharaman wore an off-white checkered handloom saree and matching purple and pink blouse for her seventh budget launch.
The BJP government came back to power because people reposed their faith in Modi’s leadership. The global economy is facing problems. The major problems faced are inflation. But with a strong economy, India is on the path of growth. Inflation was brought under control. Garib Kalyan Yojana has been extended for another five years benefiting 80 crore people.
The finance minister said that the budget has laid emphasis on productivity, employment, social justice, urban development, energy security, infrastructure and reforms.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Center will provide financial support for loans up to Rs.10 lakh for higher education. During the budget presentation, the finance minister said that students studying in educational institutions of the country will get the benefit of this.
