India Slams China for Backing Pakistan After Pahalgam Terror Attack

India has expressed strong displeasure over China’s declaration of full support for Pakistan, which was involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs feel that China’s move amounts to supporting terrorism.

In the United Nations Security Council resolution, Pakistan with China’s backing removed the section that called for cooperation with India’s investigation. Following this, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi yesterday.

Amid signs that India is preparing for a retaliatory response, Pakistan sought China’s support. India is expected to respond to China’s statement today.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs will convene today to assess various issues, including the return of Pakistani nationals. After discussions with top military officials, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.
