Israel Continues Intense Airstrikes in Gaza, Around 500 Killed, Nearly 2,000 Injured in 48 Hours
Israel has continued its devastating airstrikes in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of around 500 Palestinians within 48 hours and leaving nearly 2,000 injured. Massive airstrikes are being carried out without any prior warnings. The Israeli military has officially announced that the attacks in Gaza will continue and have now entered their second day.
These recent attacks are unique in that there are no prior warnings or evacuation notices. No one can predict where the next Israeli airstrike will occur. Moreover, Israel’s goal appears to be the complete destruction of Gaza through airstrikes alone, without initiating a ground war.
As a result, this second phase of the war is expected to escalate the crisis further. Over the past two days, death has engulfed Gaza. The only reason for these relentless attacks is Hamas’ insistence on negotiations for the release of approximately 24 remaining hostages. The first ceasefire agreement expired, and without reaching a second ceasefire deal, Israel resumed its military offensive to recover the remaining hostages.
