Israeli Forces Enter West Bank, Destroy Palestinian Mosque; Clashes Escalate

Israeli settlers stormed the West Bank and demolished a mosque revered by Palestinians. Responding to the incident, Israeli police stated that Palestinians and Hamas are “reaping the whirlwind” after sowing chaos. Despite the destruction of the mosque, relative peace persists in the West Bank, as Israeli police have intensified security measures to protect Jewish settlers and prevent retaliation from Palestinians.

Israeli police warned Palestinians that any escalation by Palestinian militants would lead to the deployment of Israeli forces in the West Bank, potentially turning it into a conflict zone similar to Gaza.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes have intensified. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 77 Palestinians have been killed and 174 injured in recent strikes. A report titled “Gaza: Death Trap” by Doctors Without Borders highlights the large-scale violence in Palestinian territories due to Israeli attacks.

Since the escalation began on October 7, 2023, the ongoing conflict has reached its 441st day, leaving 4,526 Palestinians dead and 18,512 injured, as per the Gaza Health Ministry’s reports.
