A deadly war has reignited in Gaza following the failure of ceasefire negotiations. Israel launched attacks in central Gaza, resulting in at least 232 deaths, according to rescue workers and local authorities.
“The death toll is rising rapidly due to Israel’s continuous strikes on areas in the Gaza Strip,” officials stated. Israel claimed that the renewed assault was due to Hamas repeatedly refusing to release hostages. Amid the attacks, Israel announced the closure of schools in Gaza and warned that Gaza would face severe consequences unless hostages were freed. As per current reports, Israel has demanded the release of 24 hostages alive and the return of the bodies of 35 deceased hostages.
