Kerala plus one exam 2021 begins

Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, DHSE Kerala will be starting with the Kerala Plus One Exam 2021 from today – September 24, 2021. Nearly 4 lakh candidates are set to appear in these exams that would be held in offline mode. More details are available on dhsekerala.gov.in.

Kerala Plus One Exam 2021 preparations are being done after a review meeting was held and chaired by Education Minister V Sivankutty. In it, it was decided to have strictest of safety measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety. For the same, sanitisation work and cleaning drives have started and are supposed to end on or before September 22, 2021. Kerala Plus One Exam 2021 would end on October 18, 2021, as per the revised schedule released by DHSE Kerala. The written part of the exam will be held for a duration of 2.5 hours, but all students will get 20 minutes of extra cool-off time as well. Hence, the exam will be held from 9:40am to 12:30pm. According to the guidelines issued by the Government and DHSE Kerala, strict protocols are in place for all the exam days, taking into consideration the risk of COVID-19 infections.

Kerala Plus One Exam 2021 are being held in offline mode after Supreme Court gave its nod. The matter was up for hearing in which the petitioners challenged the government’s decision to hold offline exams. Following this decision, the fresh Plus One Exam 2021 Time Table was also released by DHSE Kerala. For DHSE +1 exam, separate guidelines for subjects with practical exams and those without practicals have been released.
