New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended Diwali greetings to the people, wishing them happiness, health, and prosperity. He expressed on X that he hopes everyone is blessed with wealth through the grace of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha.
This Diwali is the first after the realization of the Ram Temple, and the Prime Minister also mentioned Ayodhya’s Diwali celebration, which earned a spot in the Guinness World Records. After 500 years and many sacrifices, this auspicious moment has come. He remarked that it is a blessing for all to witness this historic moment, a result of the devotion of Ram’s followers. Ayodhya set two records: the first for lighting the most oil lamps (2.5 million) and the second for the largest Sarayu Aarti conducted simultaneously by 1,121 Vedic scholars.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating Diwali in Gujarat this year. He has arrived in Gujarat for a two-day visit.
