The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying it was ready for a ceasefire. If Russia also accepts the conditions, the temporary ceasefire can be mutually agreed and extended. The agreement on the transfer of prisoners, the release of civilian prisoners, and the return of displaced Ukrainian children was discussed. Ukraine called for the European Union to be involved in the talks.
The US delegation, led by Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak and led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, represented Ukraine.
