Prayagraj: The Maha Kumbh Mela has become a global event, and its successful completion was made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He also expressed special gratitude to the media for capturing and showcasing the Kumbh Mela to the world.
The Maha Kumbh Mela held in Prayagraj has now transformed into a truly global event. Yogi Adityanath credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for this achievement, stating that his long-term vision played a crucial role in making the Kumbh Mela a grand success.
Yogi also highlighted the Prime Minister’s idea of integrating faith with the economy. He emphasized that spirituality-based tourism holds great potential, especially in a state like Uttar Pradesh.
In 2024 alone, a total of 640 million visitors, including pilgrims and tourists, visited various spiritual destinations in Uttar Pradesh, including Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Vindhyachal, Gorakhpur, and Naimisharanya, Yogi Adityanath added.
