Record of Paroles Granted to T.P. Case Accused Since First Pinarayi Government Revealed

The number of paroles granted to T.P. case convicts since the time of the first Pinarayi government has been released. The Chief Minister’s reply to a question raised in the Assembly by Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan MLA on October 16, 2024 has now been released.

The Chief Minister has revealed that three of the accused in the T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case have been granted parole for more than a thousand days.

The assembly document also states that six other accused in the case were granted parole to stay out of jail for more than 500 days. K.C. Ramachandran, Trouser Manoj and Annan Sajith were granted parole for more than a thousand days. K.C. Ramachandran was granted parole for 1081 days, Trouser Manoj for 1068 days and Sajith for 1078 days each.

T.K. Rajesh 940, Muhammed Shafi 656, Shinoj 925, Rafeeq 782, Kirmani Manoj 851, M.C. Anoop 900, Kodi Suni 60 were granted parole for days. A move to release some of the accused by granting them a remission of sentence was recently announced.
