RSS lashes out at Bangladesh

The RSS has launched a strong attack on the interim government of Bangladesh over ongoing atrocities against Hindus in the country. Sunil Ambekar, a prominent spokesperson for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stated that the government of Muhammad Yunus is deliberately allowing attacks on Hindus. He warned that if talks fail, India should consider other measures, comparing the situation in Bangladesh to the atrocities under Mughal rule. Ambekar was speaking at an event held in Nagpur, where he condemned the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.

He also criticized the situation in Bangladesh, where such attacks are happening despite being ruled by a Nobel laureate. According to him, similar conditions exist in countries like Pakistan, where Islamists are in power. The RSS has always advocated for resolving issues through dialogue, but Ambekar questioned how long such discussions could continue, pointing to the lack of progress in Jammu and Kashmir, where attempts at talks have been fruitless and India faced setbacks when trying to make concessions.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh government has confirmed reports of attacks against Hindus in the country. According to statistics from August 5 to October 22, 88 cases were registered, and more than 70 people were arrested in connection with these incidents, as per the Bangladesh government.

On the other hand, India has urged Bangladesh to take a clear stand on the attacks against Hindus. During his visit to Bangladesh, India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri raised the issue with the interim leader of the country, Muhammad Yunus, urging Bangladesh to adopt a more proactive approach, as the ongoing violence is creating instability in the region.
