Thiruvananthapuram: The dead body of Joy, a cleaner who went missing after falling into Amayizhanchan creek in Thiruvananthapuram, has been found. The dead body was found in the canal behind Pazhavangadi Thakaraparam. This is the place where the water comes from the railway.
Relatives and friends confirmed that the body was in a decomposed state. The police team has also confirmed that it is Joy’s dead body. A 46-hour long search has ended. The search was started today under the leadership of Navy divers.
Joy went missing when she was swept away by the current while cleaning garbage from the Amayizhanchan creek near Thambanoor railway station. Three people went down to the stream for cleaning. As the rain got heavier, Joey fell into the current. Joy, a temporary employee of the Railways, hails from Marayamuttam.
