Sitaram Yechury’s health condition remains critical

CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury’s health condition remains critical. Sitaram Yechury is still in the intensive care unit of Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. The party leaders said that the doctors informed that they have started giving new medicine brought from abroad. Doctors informed that 48 hours is crucial.

In the news note released by the Central Committee the other day, it was stated that a team of expert doctors is monitoring Sitaram Yechury. It is reported that an expert doctor will arrive today from abroad to take care of him. After examining the doctor, he will decide whether the treatment needs to be changed.

Yechury was admitted to the hospital on August 19 due to pneumonia. Then it was found that he had a lung infection. Later, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. The party leadership informs that there is slight progress in the health condition. DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday wished CPIM leader Sitaram Yechury a speedy recovery.
