The program you are currently witnessing is called “Cutting Malabar.” Swami Dr. Bhargava Ram has launched an attack against PV Anwar from the Sangh Parivar camp. What has been unfolding here over the past few days is a well-planned and organized effort by certain lobbies to completely weaken, neutralize, isolate, and intimidate the Kerala police, reducing them to mere slaves.
Swami mocks that this is all part of a struggle to secure the uncontested right to smuggle gold through the Kozhikode and Kannur airports by enslaving the Kerala police. He criticizes that senior political leaders and media, acting as puppets in the hands of lobbies, are lining up to ensure the smuggling of gold through the two airports in Malabar by paralyzing the police. Swami calls for the Kerala police to unite and suppress these covert operations to defeat them.
In the coming days, those in uniform in Malabar will have to serve as obedient slaves, like sepoys, to such forces. Centered around Malappuram district, which includes Kozhikode airport and a vast coastal region, terrorists aligned with the ruling party are attempting to enslave and control the Kerala police.
This is a full post warning issued by Dr. Bhargava Ram:
It is not correct to think or criticize that the entire Kerala police are left-wing slaves just because the left is in power. It is true that the police often take into account the interests of the ruling party, accept recommendations, and at times give in to threats and influence.
In issues like Sabarimala, the police have followed the sense of justice dictated by the ruling party, and this has attracted criticism. Under left rule, the party’s interference in policing tends to be more prevalent. However, under Pinarayi’s governance, it seems that the party and external forces control the police less at the grassroots level compared to previous times. This does not mean that the policing in Kerala is flawless or that the party never interferes.
However, it would be wrong to overlook the invaluable service that the police provide to maintain internal security, law and order, and case investigations, even amidst many limitations, interventions, provocations, and heavy workloads.
In the past few days, there has been a planned and organized move by some lobbies to completely weaken, neutralize, isolate, and intimidate the Kerala police, reducing them to mere slaves. From senior political leaders to the media, everyone is lining up as puppets in the hands of these lobbies.
Some of these individuals are blindly following without knowing the real story, while others are collaborators in the smuggling lobbies, and yet others are mere slaves. Unfortunately, it seems that such forces are receiving some support from within the police itself.
If the Kerala police do not come together, act intelligently, and navigate through this crisis, they will be forced to serve as obedient slaves to the aforementioned lobbies for a long time. If immediate action is not taken, it will be nearly impossible for the force to free itself from the stranglehold of these individuals. Understanding the gravity of the situation, it is hoped that the Kerala police will rise to the occasion, stay vigilant, and bring the real culprits to justice without bowing to external pressures.
Certain forces, especially in Malappuram district, which includes Kozhikode airport and a significant coastal region, have been trying to exert full control over the police to influence, leak information, enslave, and control them. These attempts have been ongoing for some time, with these interest groups working as part of the ruling party.
The fact that these attempts have achieved some success is evident from the invitation extended to such individuals as chief guests at the police association conference. If merit, acceptability, law-abiding nature, official stature, or personal integrity were the criteria for being a guest, would such individuals have been invited as chief guests? This is something to ponder.
It is clear that the accused officers themselves previously aided and abetted parallel governance in the police force, and as these interest groups grew strong enough to interfere in everything, the police decided to move forward with strong resolve under the backing of the ADGP. This has become apparent upon evaluation.
As a result, both the former and current SPs of Malappuram are unpopular with these interest groups. Furthermore, a handful of officers investigating cases fairly have also found their way onto the hit list of these groups. It is possible that the accused officers, having previously made unlawful concessions, are now unable to respond to the accusations made by these interest groups due to being ‘locked’ into a compromised position.
It is understood that SPs have been taking action against gold smugglers and drug mafias without bowing to their masters under the courage or direction given by the ADGP. When the lobbies attempted to enslave the ADGP through various strategies, the ADGP was ready to engage in full communication with the Chief Minister’s political secretary and, upon securing his assurance, the police decided to take a firm stand.
This has led to division and disorder within the force, manifesting in the noise and polarization seen in the recent conferences.
