New Delhi : The Lok Sabha election announcement will be made next week. Meanwhile, the last cabinet meeting of the second Modi government will be held on Tuesday. The Prime Minister’s Office has directed the ministries to hold inaugurations of various central projects and policy announcements by Wednesday.
The Central Election Commissioner will visit Jammu and Kashmir to assess the election preparations. Elections will be announced soon after this visit is over. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister will inaugurate about a dozen projects before the code of conduct comes into force.
Meanwhile, the central government will notify the CAA rules before the code of conduct comes into force. 3400 companies of central forces will be deployed for the security of the Lok Sabha elections.
