US Elections: Republican Party Officially Declares Trump as Presidential Candidate

The Republican Party officially announced Donald Trump as the US presidential candidate. The announcement was made at the party’s national convention.

And Ohayo Senator JD Vance was also announced as the running mate for Vice President. The announcement came after both received clear support at the convention. Trump, who miraculously survived the shooting, attended the convention wearing a bandage over his shot right ear.

The 39-year-old Vance will be the vice presidential candidate after Florida Senator Marco Rubio and North Dakota Governor Dub Bergum, who were on the list of possible candidates. Vance, who was once a staunch critic of Trump, is now a leading figure in the Trump camp. Vance’s wife is Usha Chilkuri of Indian origin.
