Excise arrested three people with more than 3 kg of ganja at two places in Alappuzha. Two Ernakulam natives were arrested at the Kuthiyathode bus waiting area with 1.235 kg of ganja under the leadership of Kuthiyathode Excise Inspector P.C. Girish. The arrested are Mahesh (35 years old) and Afzal Abdu (28 years old). They are accused who were booked by the Ernakulam District Police.
The excise team that arrested the accused included Assistant Excise Inspector (Grade) Sabinesh Jith, and civil officers V.K. Vipin, U. Umesh, M.D. Vishnudas, Vidhu.P.M., and Vipinachandran.
A Bihar native was arrested with 2 kg of ganja in Kayamkulam. The person arrested has been identified as Pradeep Chaudhary (32 years old). The excise party led by Haripad Excise Circle Inspector E.R. Girish Kumar with the help of Cyber Cell arrested the accused. The party included Assistant Excise Inspector (Grade) Antony.K.L and Civil Excise Officers Suresh.R and George Paiva.
