Chennai: AIADMK is an open partner of BJP. Tamil Vetrikazhagam founder and actor Vijay has said that DMK has been a secret partner of BJP since long. Vijay’s response came shortly after Home Minister Amit Shah announced the alliance the other day.
Vijay said that it is not surprising that the BJP has made the AIADMK a partner by mocking the AIADMK-BJP alliance. This movement is now far from the ideals of AIADMK founder MGR. MGR’s blessings are now with the Tamil Vetri Kazhagam. The fight in the assembly elections is between the TVK and the DMK. There is no place for the AIADMK there, Vijay added.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had claimed in a press conference the other day that the NDA government will be formed in Tamil Nadu in 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the election at the national level and Palaniswami in Tamil Nadu. Amit Shah also said that Palaniswami will lead the coalition government.
