Bengal Governor Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose participated in the Maha Kumbh Mela. Arriving in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday evening with his wife, Ananda Bose performed a special puja at the Triveni banks before taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Ananda Bose visited Prayagraj upon the special invitation of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Speaking to the media in Prayagraj, Ananda Bose described the Maha Kumbh Mela as the “grand confluence of India’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual wealth.”
“The world is naturally drawn to Prayagraj to experience the Advaita philosophical wisdom of India, embodied in the phrase ‘Aham Brahmasmi.’ This is a matter of great pride for every Indian,” the Governor stated.
