Boat Capsizes in Madhya Pradesh; Seven Pilgrims, Including Four Children Missing

Bhopal: A boat carrying 15 pilgrims capsized in Madhya Pradesh, leaving seven people missing, including four children. The accident occurred while they were traveling to a temple on an island in the Matatila Dam.

According to national media reports, eight people were rescued with the help of local villagers. The missing individuals include three women aged between 35 and 55 and four children aged between 7 and 15.

A rescue operation involving divers and search teams has been launched to locate the missing passengers.

The pilgrims were from Rajwan village, located 250 km from Bhopal, and had rented a boat to visit the Siddh Baba Temple, situated on an island in the dam. The accident occurred on their way back from the temple.
