Chandrababu Naidu leads NDA in Andhra Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh, where assembly elections are held along with the Lok Sabha elections, the NDA alliance has made a huge advance. The TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance is moving forward, defeating the current ruling YSR Congress Party.

The main battle for the 175-seat Andhra Legislative Assembly was between the NDA and the YSR Congress Party, but it was a three-cornered contest. Indi alliance also contested almost every seat.

When the first round indications come in, TDP is leading in 127 seats, Jana Sena in 17 seats and BJP in 7 seats, while YSR Congress Party in the lead has narrowed down to just 22 seats. The Congress-led front has never been able to maintain a lead in even a single seat. If the current trend continues, the Indy front will not win any seats in the state and will be left behind.
