China’s invitation accepted; Rajnath meets Wei Fenghe; Army chief says situation at border is crucial

India has accepted China’s invitation for talks amid continuing border clashes. Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe conveyed an invitation to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to hold talks. The two leaders will meet in the run-up to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Moscow.
