Congress Won’t Win More Than One Seat; Samajwadi Party Criticizes Congress Ahead of Delhi Elections

New Delhi: The Samajwadi Party has intensified its criticism against Congress ahead of the Delhi elections. Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav stated that Congress would not win more than one seat. He dismissed the exit poll predictions as inaccurate, citing past miscalculations, including in the Lok Sabha elections. Yadav had previously blamed Congress for the BJP’s victories.

The latest exit poll results indicate a landslide victory for the BJP in Delhi. Axis My India, which accurately predicted the Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections, forecasts that the BJP will win 44 to 55 seats out of 70 and secure 48% of the vote share. Today’s Chanakya predicts an even bigger win, with the BJP securing up to 57 seats. Both agencies predict that AAP will be limited to around 25 seats. C-Voter (CNX) estimates the BJP could win between 49 and 61 seats.

AAP is expected to secure between 10 and 19 seats, while Congress is projected to remain weak, with a maximum of 3 seats. However, the AAP camp has rejected these exit polls, calling them a deliberate attempt to create confusion. The party has also alleged that efforts are being made to remove AAP workers from vote counting centers.
