New Delhi: Provided support, including financial aid, for the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda. NIA conducted raids in six states: Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar, Tripura, and Assam.
Raids began early yesterday morning at nine locations suspected of having connections with Al-Qaeda. The operation was linked to anti-national activities carried out by some Bangladeshi nationals.
According to an NIA statement, documents of banking transactions, mobile phones, anti-national pamphlets, and evidence of funding to terrorists were seized during the raid.
NIA also stated that raids were conducted at the offices and residences of individuals sympathetic to the Bangladesh-based Al-Qaeda group.
