The number of Corona Positive cases in the country has crossed five lakh. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, there are 5,66,840 cases of Kovid in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, 18,522 people have been infected. 418 people have died. So far 16,893 people have surrendered to Kovid. Currently, there are 2,15125 patients. At the same time, 3,34821 persons were cured. The cure rate rose to 58 percent. Health workers and those working in the anti-Kovid defense sector are at greater risk of contracting the disease. Only 149 hospitals in the country, including the Kovid hospitals in the country, have so far registered 2109health workers. In all, 18 health workers died. Most of the health workers were sick in Delhi MIC. 769 people have contracted the disease.

Maharashtra has the highest number of cases. A total of 1,69,883 people have been sick in Maharashtra so far. Yesterday, 5257 people became ill. At the same time, the number of patients in Tamil Nadu has lagged behind Delhi. A total of 86,224 patients have been reported so far in Tamil Nadu. In Delhi, 85,161 people have contracted the disease so far. Taking into consideration the growing number of patients, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu extended the lockdown until next month.

In the meantime, the DCGI has given permission to test Bharat Biotech’s Kovacsin in Kovid 19 defense in humans. This vaccine can be tested in humans in stages I and II. The vaccine will be tested in humans starting in July. The Bharat Biotech vaccine was developed in collaboration with the Indian Council for Medical Research and the National Institute of Virology, Pune.
