So far more than 1.5 lakh Indians have returned home in ‘Vande Bharat Mission’. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave this information in a tweet.
Puri wrote, “More than one and a half lakh people have returned in flights of Vande Bharat Mission and more than 55 thousand people have gone out of the country.” He said that 4,784 people returned to India under this mission on Sunday.
More than 150K people have returned on VBM flights & 55K have flown out of India.
With Phase-4 of the mission all set to soar, these numbers will increase significantly. More Indians will be able to return home.

The mission was launched to bring home the stranded Indians due to Kovid-19. In this, Indian nationals are being brought on special flights with the help of Indian embassies abroad.
The fourth phase of Vande Bharat Mission is also to begin this week. Puri said that after the fourth phase, the number of Indians coming from abroad will increase rapidly.
