Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uttarakhand and offered prayers at the Ganga Devi Temple. He also inaugurated a bike-truck rally in Harsil, Uttarakhand. Upon his arrival in Dehradun, he was welcomed by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other officials.
Following this, he visited the Mukhwa Temple and participated in the Ganga Aarti. The Prime Minister also shared pictures from the unique Gunji village, situated at an altitude of 11,000 meters in Pithoragarh, on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Prime Minister Modi is also set to visit Jageshwar Dham in Almora district and take part in a special puja organized there. According to a press release, he will lay the foundation stones for various development projects.
Additionally, he offered prayers at Parvati Kund before traveling to Gunji village in Pithoragarh district, where he interacted with the local residents. He also met with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel deployed in the border regions.
